The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Clover, SC, is dedicated to empowering individuals and families through hands-on nutrition education, supported by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service. Our program focuses on enhancing diet quality, physical activity, food resource management, food safety, and food security, offering a comprehensive 10-session curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of participants. Through engaging group or individual sessions, adults gain essential skills in planning quick and healthy meals, preparing nutritious recipes, ensuring food safety, managing food budgets, and increasing physical activity. With a commitment to serving individuals with limited financial resources, we aim to reach those eligible for Food Assistance programs such as WIC, SNAP, and Head Start, providing them the knowledge and tools to make healthier choices and improve their overall well-being. Participants also receive a Certificate of Achievement to celebrate their commitment to better nutrition and health.
