The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Dillon, SC, is a supportive initiative designed for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Our free program offers a gradual learning experience over a 12-month period, focusing on essential diabetes management skills. Participants receive six informative e-booklets tailored to address their needs and concerns, along with a monthly e-newsletter in both English and Spanish providing seasonal tips and local community event information. Enrollees can also participate in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can connect directly with American Diabetes Association experts to address their questions, explore the relationship between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways designed to support their journey toward thriving with diabetes.
