The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Fort Mill, SC, cultivates the next generation of leaders dedicated to forging a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Offered by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this transformative program provides hands-on training and mentorship to empower Fellows as teachers and advocates within their communities. With a strong emphasis on organic agriculture, participants engage in growing and distributing diverse crops on market-style farms, implementing innovative health education, and fostering ecological literacy through community gardens and school activities. The Fellowship is designed to be accessible, operating without tuition fees to encourage widespread participation.
