About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Greenville, SC empowers passionate individuals to become advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through hands-on training at Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, our program offers a unique opportunity to learn about organic food systems, provide educational sessions on health care innovation, and engage in community activities like maintaining gardens and supporting farmers markets. We eliminate financial barriers by not charging tuition, ensuring that everyone can access this transformative experience. Selected Fellows engage in six months of immersive study, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profits. We invite applications annually, with the program running from May to October, as we work together to create increased access to healthy food for all.
