At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Greer, SC, we believe in nurturing leaders who advocate for a fair and sustainable food system. Our program provides comprehensive, hands-on education in organic farming and food justice while ensuring accessibility by not charging tuition. Through immersive training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in a six-month experiential program, followed by a Community Action Year where they implement their learnings alongside regional non-profit organizations. Our dedicated Fellows play a vital role in growing and distributing diverse crops, enhancing community gardens, and fostering food and ecological literacy in schools. They also support local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives, helping to establish robust distribution channels that increase access to healthy foods for everyone.
