MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Hanahan, SC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and has access to tailored weight management services that accommodate their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of supportive options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. The MOVE! Coach mobile app allows Veterans to take control of their weight management journey independently, while our comprehensive care also includes access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those facing persistent weight-related challenges.
