The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Ladson, SC, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission is to provide essential nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for healthcare services. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, South Carolina WIC continues to serve families with modified services to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. Although our locations are currently closed to the public, our dedicated team is available through phone lines to assist families in accessing vital services.
