The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lancaster, SC, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators committed to a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This transformative program allows selected Fellows to immerse themselves in a six-month experiential residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they receive comprehensive training in organic food systems. Through practical application, Fellows engage with community partners to grow diversified crops, maintain school gardens, enhance food literacy, and support local farmers' markets. The Fellowship aims to provide access to essential food resources while empowering participants to implement innovative health initiatives and cultivate future leaders in sustainable agriculture. With no tuition fees, we focus on accessibility, inviting all who share our vision to apply by March each year for an experience that runs from May to October.
