Located in Liberty, SC, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship by the Allegheny Mountain Institute is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system. We empower selected Fellows through a comprehensive program that offers organic food system education without tuition fees, making our fellowship accessible to all. Over six months at our Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in hands-on learning, from cultivating diverse crops and running market-style farms to leading educational sessions on health and sustainability. Throughout their Community Action Year, Fellows apply their skills alongside regional non-profits, contributing to initiatives such as school gardens, farmers markets, food distribution channels, and community food coalitions. Join us to advocate for food justice and make a tangible impact in your community, with applications accepted until March each year for an enriching experience from May to October.
