MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Little River, SC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to actively screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to connect them with tailored weight management solutions that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! which provides in-home messaging support from clinicians. For those who prefer greater autonomy, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent challenges with weight-related issues.
