The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Lugoff, SC, is dedicated to nurturing a sustainable and equitable food system through hands-on education and community engagement. We empower Fellows to become advocates for social, environmental, and economic justice in food production. Our program offers comprehensive training in organic food systems at the Allegheny Farm, providing vital skills needed to promote food literacy and foster community gardens. Participants will engage in growing and distributing diverse crops while implementing educational initiatives aimed at innovating health care and increasing access to healthy foods. Our Fellowship is tuition-free, ensuring that our resources are accessible to all, and includes a six-month experiential training program followed by a Community Action Year to collaborate with regional non-profits.
