The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Manning, SC is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and equitable food systems. This transformative program sponsors and equips Fellows through hands-on education in organic food systems, empowering them to advocate for social, environmental, and economic justice in the food landscape. Without charging tuition, we promote accessibility, allowing our community-oriented Fellows to engage in meaningful work such as growing diversified crops, maintaining school gardens, and supporting direct-to-consumer food initiatives. Throughout an intense six-month experiential study at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows not only gain invaluable skills but also foster strong relationships with regional non-profits to enhance access to healthy food. We invite those passionate about food justice to apply by March for an enriching experience that spans from May to October, cultivating change and resilience in local communities.
