The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Moncks Corner, SC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of families through practical nutrition education offered by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service. Our program focuses on four vital areas: diet quality and physical activity, food resource management, food safety, and food security, ensuring participants gain the skills they need to lead healthier lives. EFNEP provides a comprehensive 10-session interactive curriculum tailored to individual needs, with lessons available in both group and one-on-one formats. Participants learn how to prepare nutritious meals, save money on groceries, practice food safety, and increase physical activity, culminating in a Certificate of Achievement to celebrate their commitment.
