The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Moore, SC, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of families through practical, hands-on nutrition education. Operated by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service, our program focuses on four essential areas: diet quality and physical activity, food resource management, food safety, and food security. We offer a comprehensive 10-session interactive program tailored to individual needs, whether through group lessons or one-on-one sessions. Participants will gain valuable skills in planning nutritious meals, preparing healthy recipes, ensuring food safety, managing their food budget, and increasing physical activity.
