The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Mullins, SC, is dedicated to supporting individuals newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes by providing essential education and resources over a comprehensive 12-month period. This free program, available in both English and Spanish, includes six informative e-booklets tailored to guide participants through their diabetes management journey. Each month, participants receive an e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and community event information that encourages proactive health management. Enrollees who share their phone numbers can also take part in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they have the opportunity to engage with ADA experts, learn about the crucial link between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways.
