Helping Hand South Strand is dedicated to providing urgent assistance to individuals and families in Murrells Inlet, SC, and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and hardship through our emergency food pantry, allowing clients to access vital food assistance every eight weeks. In addition to food support, we offer clothing, utility bill assistance for those facing final notices, transportation services, and help with prescriptions and propane or kerosene for seniors. We also strive to bring joy to our community with special programs, including back-to-school shoes, Christmas gifts for children and seniors, and Thanksgiving meals.
