The Living With Type 2 Diabetes Program in North Augusta, SC, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This complimentary program spans 12 months and is designed to empower participants with essential knowledge about diabetes management. Through six comprehensive e-booklets, a monthly bilingual e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources, and information about local community events, we aim to meet participants at their unique stage of understanding. Enrollees also have the opportunity to join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can seek advice from ADA professionals, engage in discussions on the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways that promote thriving with diabetes. Our mission is to provide accessible, practical support that fosters a healthier future for all participants.
