Located in North Charleston, SC, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is straightforward: to screen every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities for obesity annually and connect them with personalized weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including interactive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for remote support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management or explore additional options such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges after engaging with the MOVE! program. Services may differ based on facility, so we encourage interested Veterans to speak with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards healthier living.
