At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Pawleys Island, SC, we are committed to cultivating a new generation of leaders who advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Our Fellowship offers a comprehensive, tuition-free program that empowers selected individuals with hands-on training and experiential education at the Allegheny Farm Campus in Highland County, VA. Over six months, our Fellows dive deep into organic food system practices and collaborate on diverse initiatives such as growing and distributing crops, managing community gardens, and enhancing food education in schools. By partnering with regional non-profits during the Community Action Year, our Fellows actively engage in efforts to increase access to healthy foods, promote farmers markets, and support community food initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year, making it easy for passionate individuals to join us in making a meaningful impact on the local food landscape.
