The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Pickens, SC, provides an invaluable opportunity for aspiring advocates and educators committed to fostering a just and sustainable food system. Through hands-on training, our fellows immerse themselves in organic food system education at the Allegheny Farm Campus, gaining practical experience growing and distributing diversified crops, managing community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into educational programs. Our Fellowship, which does not charge tuition to enhance accessibility, supports innovative health care initiatives and direct-to-consumer food programs. Each selected fellow participates in a six-month experiential learning phase, followed by a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to implement real-world solutions.
