Located in Timmonsville, SC, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission encompasses the annual screening of every Veteran who accesses care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring tailored referrals to appropriate weight management services, and offering a variety of treatment options that align with the unique preferences of our Veterans. Participants can engage in group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilize our innovative TeleMOVE! program for convenient in-home support. The MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to take charge of their weight management journeys independently. For those facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
