MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in West Columbia, SC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs. We offer a variety of support options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows Veterans to receive in-home support through messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a more independent approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides a user-friendly platform for self-management. Additionally, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
