Located in Woodruff, SC, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities by annually screening for obesity, providing tailored referrals to weight management resources, and offering a diverse range of treatment options that align with individual needs. Our program includes various care avenues such as engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for those preferring in-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed management, while options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery are available for those who require additional assistance. We encourage Veterans interested in weight loss to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to embark on their journey toward healthier living.
