The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), affectionately known as 'The Senior Box Program', is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income individuals aged 60 and older in Alcester, SD. Through this vital USDA initiative, seniors receive monthly food boxes filled with nourishing staples such as cheese, juice, milk, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entrée, ensuring they have access to the nutrition they need. Our mission is to support the health and well-being of our senior community by delivering emergency food supplies directly to those who need it most.
