The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), often referred to as 'The Senior Box Program,' is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income adults aged 60 and older in Mission, SD. This vital USDA program ensures that seniors receive monthly food boxes filled with nutritious items such as cheese, juice, milk, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entrée. Our mission is to alleviate food insecurity among the elderly population by offering nutritious emergency food solutions and fostering a sense of community support.
