MOVE! is a dedicated weight management and health promotion program based in Antigo, WI, aimed at enhancing the well-being of Veterans. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, providing tailored referrals to suitable weight management services. We offer a variety of flexible treatment options to meet the unique needs and preferences of our Veterans, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges despite participating in the MOVE! program. Each facility may offer different services, and we encourage Veterans interested in improving their health to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to get started on their weight loss journey.
