About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Grafton, WI, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through our comprehensive, hands-on program, we empower selected Fellows to engage in organic food system education focused on sustainable practices. During their six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows learn to grow and distribute diversified crops, implement innovative health care educational sessions, maintain community gardens, and teach food and ecological literacy. Our initiative also emphasizes collaboration with local partners, enhancing access to healthy foods through farmers markets and consumer programs while supporting community food coalitions. We do not charge tuition to ensure wide accessibility, and candidates are encouraged to apply by March for the May to October fellowship period. Join us in making a tangible impact on our food systems and communities.
