MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Holmen, WI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is routinely screened for obesity and referred to tailored weight management services that cater to their individual needs and preferences. MOVE! offers a variety of supportive options including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and telehealth messaging through TeleMOVE!, allowing for in-home support and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer self-directed weight loss, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, for Veterans who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. To take the first step toward a healthier lifestyle, interested Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider.
