The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Mukwonago, WI, empowers individuals to champion a just and sustainable food system through hands-on education and community engagement. Our program is dedicated to teaching organic food system practices without charging tuition, making it accessible to all aspiring advocates and educators. Fellows receive comprehensive training at Allegheny Farm, focusing on growing and distributing diverse crops on a market-style farm, leading innovative health-related educational sessions, and integrating food and ecological literacy into school curricula. Our mission extends to supporting local farmers markets and enhancing access to healthy foods through community initiatives. Selected individuals participate in a transformative six-month immersive experience, followed by a year of impactful community action in partnership with regional non-profit organizations.
