About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Plymouth, WI, nurtures the next generation of advocates for a just food system by sponsoring, training, and empowering Fellows committed to social, environmental, and economic justice in agriculture. Our program offers invaluable organic food system education, emphasizing accessibility with no tuition fees. Selected Fellows engage in a transformative six-month residential experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, immersing themselves in hands-on training that covers diversified crop production, community garden maintenance, and food literacy education in schools. They also learn to support farmers markets and enhance distribution channels for healthier food access. Following their fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their skills and knowledge. We invite passionate individuals to apply before the March deadline for an enriching experience that runs from May to October, aimed at creating sustainable food solutions together.
