The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Schofield, WI, is dedicated to cultivating a just and sustainable food system by empowering and training future leaders in food advocacy. This unique fellowship, offered by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, focuses on providing organic food system education without tuition fees to ensure accessibility for all interested candidates. With hands-on experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in diversified crop production, community gardening, and innovative health education while actively mentoring the next generation of advocates. Throughout their transformative six-month program, followed by a Community Action Year, selected individuals collaborate with local non-profits to enhance food access and support community food efforts. Apply by March each year to be part of this impactful initiative running from May to October, as we work together to build resilient, equitable food systems.
