At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Stevens Point, WI, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Our Fellowship offers an accessible, tuition-free training program designed to empower participants with organic food system education. Throughout this immersive six-month experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows will gain hands-on knowledge and practical skills while playing an active role in community initiatives. They will engage in growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing educational health sessions, maintaining community gardens, and fostering food literacy in schools. After their residency, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to further their impact and support food access initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year, with program activities set to unfold from May to October.
