The Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to low-income households, including elderly individuals and Native American families living on or near Indian reservations in Stevens Point, WI. By offering a variety of USDA foods and essential nutrition education, FDPIR aims to foster health and wellness within these communities. Our mission is to ensure that those in need have access to quality emergency food resources, helping to alleviate food insecurity and empower households with the knowledge to make nutritious choices. To participate, applicants must meet monthly income requirements and can learn more by contacting their Indian Tribal Organization or the local State Distributing Agency.
