This residential treatment center is nestled on 70 acres along the Clam River, featuring three family-style homes that accommodate up to 26 residents. The campus includes an indoor gymnasium, fitness center, classrooms, and an experiential arts building, complemented by outdoor amenities such as gardens, nature trails, sport courts, a hammock village, and water access for fishing and kayaking. The program builds resilience through The PassageWay principles, focusing on therapeutic lifestyle development. Treatment plans are individualized and incorporate evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, SMART skills, and Attachment, Regulation, and Competency-informed interventions. Experiential activities like mountain biking, fishing, nature photography, and woodworking play a central role in the therapeutic process, helping youth develop healthy coping skills and emotional regulation. With an average length of stay between six and ten months and a staff-to-client ratio of at least 1:4, Northwest Passage ensures personalized attention for each resident.
