MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Alderson, WV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission focuses on screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them to appropriate weight management services tailored to their individual needs. We offer a range of practical options including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who face ongoing challenges with weight after participating in MOVE!.
