Energy Express is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children in Augusta, WV, through a six-week summer reading and nutrition program designed specifically for those in rural and low-income communities. Our mission focuses on preventing summer learning loss by engaging children in dynamic and creative activities, incorporating art, drama, and vocabulary to maintain academic growth during the break. In addition to fostering a love for reading, we provide two nutritious meals each day to ensure that children have the energy they need to learn and thrive.
