Energy Express is dedicated to enriching the lives of children in Beaver, WV, through a transformative 6-week summer reading and nutrition program specifically designed for those living in rural and low-income communities. Our mission is to ensure that children not only maintain their reading skills during the summer break but also experience the joy of learning through engaging activities that incorporate art, drama, and vocabulary. Each participant receives two nutritious meals daily, addressing food security while fostering a love for literacy. By providing a safe and stimulating environment, Energy Express empowers children to thrive academically and socially throughout the summer months.
