Energy Express is dedicated to supporting children in Bruceton Mills, WV, and surrounding rural communities by providing a comprehensive 6-week summer reading and nutrition program. Our mission is to combat summer learning loss and food insecurity by engaging children through enriching activities that incorporate art, drama, and vocabulary development. Participants enjoy two nutritious meals each day, ensuring they have the sustenance needed to thrive while fostering a love for reading. We aim to inspire and empower children in low-income areas to maintain their essential skills over the summer months, making learning fun and accessible.
