Located in Bruceton Mills, WV, the Family Nutrition Program is dedicated to empowering limited resource families, youths, and adults to enhance their health and well-being through targeted nutrition and physical activity initiatives. Our mission focuses on combating obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and other chronic health issues by providing essential nutrition education and resources. We utilize USDA’s MyPlate and Dietary Guidelines to teach healthy eating habits, offer engaging food demonstrations, and improve access to local community resources. By helping participants stretch their food dollars, plan nutritious meals, and understand food labels, we encourage a proactive approach to health.
