Located in Buckhannon, WV, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who seeks care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with tailored referrals to appropriate weight management services. We offer a range of supportive options, including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-guided approach. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight loss, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
