Located in Daniels, WV, Wisewoman is dedicated to empowering low-income and uninsured women aged 40 to 64 to enhance their health and well-being. Our mission focuses on providing essential knowledge, skills, and tools to help prevent, manage, and control cardiovascular and other chronic diseases. We offer comprehensive services, including vital health measurements like height, weight, and blood pressure, as well as lab tests for cholesterol and glucose levels. If necessary, we provide follow-up visits to address any health concerns. Our supportive programs guide women in setting achievable health goals and offer education on making healthier lifestyle choices—such as improved nutrition, increased physical activity, and smoking cessation.
