About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Delbarton, WV, we are dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become passionate advocates for a just food system that values social, environmental, and economic integrity. Our program offers comprehensive organic food system education at the beautiful Allegheny Farm, ensuring that there are no tuition fees to foster inclusivity and accessibility for all aspiring fellows. Over a six-month experiential learning journey, fellows engage in hands-on activities such as growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing innovative educational sessions in health care, and nurturing community and school gardens. They also play a pivotal role in integrating food and ecological literacy into curricula, supporting farmers markets, developing distribution channels for healthy foods, and collaborating with local non-profits during their Community Action Year. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year to join us from May to October, working together towards a sustainable and equitable food future.
