The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Falling Waters, WV, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system. Through hands-on training and education, we empower our Fellows to become advocates for organic agriculture and community engagement. Our program is designed to be accessible, as we do not charge tuition, ensuring that all passionate individuals can participate. Over the course of six months at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows immerse themselves in various activities, including growing diversified crops, implementing health-focused educational initiatives, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food literacy in schools. Following this intensive learning phase, they embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to take meaningful action on food access and advocacy.
