MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Follansbee, WV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is routinely screened for obesity, offering tailored referrals to a variety of weight management services that meet individual needs and preferences. Participants can access supportive options such as group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home guidance, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For those facing ongoing weight challenges, we provide additional resources such as weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery.
