Located in Fort Gay, WV, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities are screened annually for obesity and provided with personalized referrals to suitable weight management services. With a diverse range of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! for in-home support, we cater to the unique needs of each Veteran. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers valuable tools to take control of weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require further assistance after participating in our program.
