Located in Glenville, WV, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our primary mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management options that suit their individual needs and preferences. Participants can benefit from a variety of services including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which offers in-home messaging and clinician support. Additionally, for those who prefer greater independence, we provide the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Veterans struggling with weight-related challenges may also access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring our MOVE! options.
