EnAct Community Action is dedicated to supporting low-income, disabled, and elderly individuals and families in Hurricane, WV, by providing essential emergency assistance through the Community Services Block Grant. Our mission is to offer vital services such as utility assistance, financial aid, and food assistance to those in urgent need. Our offices are equipped to make direct payments toward eligible customers' utility bills to prevent cutoff during emergencies. When resources allow, we also provide clothing, baby items, including diapers, baby food, and formula, ensuring that families have access to the necessities they require. Additionally, our on-site food pantry is available to help alleviate hunger in our community. Although we are currently experiencing a high volume of applications, we remain committed to processing requests as efficiently as possible to support our neighbors in need.
