MOVE! Weight Management Program in Hurricane, WV is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized treatment options that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of support mechanisms, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home assistance. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management. For those who require additional intervention, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans struggling with weight-related challenges.
