The Healthy Grandfamilies Program in Mannington, WV, is dedicated to supporting grandparents who are raising their grandchildren by offering essential information and resources at no cost. Our welcoming sessions not only provide valuable insight and discussion but also include childcare and refreshments to create a comfortable environment for learning. Upon completion of the program, participants earn a certificate and benefit from three months of follow-up services with a social worker. Our follow-up services assist grandparents in navigating community resources, addressing the unique needs of their families, and provide advocacy support when necessary.
