Energy Express is dedicated to empowering children in Moorefield, WV, and surrounding rural areas through a transformative 6-week summer reading and nutrition program. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by low-income communities, Energy Express ensures that children not only stay engaged and maintain their reading skills during the summer, but also enjoy two nutritious meals each day, promoting both learning and health. Our program utilizes creative approaches such as art, drama, and vocabulary enhanced activities to captivate young minds and foster a love for reading.
